Mr. Horne and Mrs. Dissington are very excited for what promises to be a fun-filled, learning-packed year!

 

 

Exploring the plants around us...

For term 5, we took put on our gardening gloves and set up about investigating the wonderful world of plants and flowers.

Year 5 were tasked with identifying the scientific parts of a flower, finding out about how pollination works, planting our own vegetables and even visitng the world famous Kew Gardens in London!

Kent Test Information Evening - Wednesday 25th April

As we enter the penultimate term of year 5, many of you will be considering preparation for next year’s Kent Test. Registration for the test is set to open in June, and we would like to invite you and your child to attend an information afternoon where you can find out more about the format, important dates for the diary and to answer any questions you may have.

 

The afternoon will be held on Wednesday 25th April, beginning at 4:15pm and will be located in the main hall. As mentioned, children are more than welcome to attend if you wish.

Year 5 Christmas concert - Monday 18th December

Come and listen to the year 5 Christmas concert, filled with festive cheer and plenty of opportunities for a sing-along! - 2:20pm in the main hall

 

Meet the Year 5 Team - Wednesday 20th September

Come and join us for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat about all the great things in store for this academic year. The year 5 team will be able to answer any questions you may have, as well as go through the year's exciting topics and ways to enrich learning at home - 2:40pm in the main hall
