We made our own tudor houses and arranged them into two different groups. The first group of houses were set up like the houses during 1666, where the streets were narrow and the houses were very close together. The second group of houses was set up like the houses a few years later in 1670, where they had learnt from their mistakes and did not build them so close together (or out of wood). You will be able to see the difference in how they burnt. The children were able to see what it might have been like and to compare the two. It was a brilliant educational experience for them all.
