For outdoor learning this week, we took our sketch books outside and started to explore natural drawings using sketching and shading skills. We found the most interesting places to become artists!
On Wednesday, we enjoy going outside and taking part in outdoor learning. This week, we combined outdoor learning with Art. We went outside and created the solar system using natural resources and chalk, some of the children used tyres to represent different planets.
We were learning about food chains in Science. To show what we learnt, we went outside and used chalk to represent different food chains. We labelled our food chains using Scientific vocabulary.

Turn out the lights. For outdoor learning, we closed our eyes and imagined what it would be like to walk through an Ancient Egyptian tunnel leading to a tomb. We considered what we would feel, hear and smell on our travels.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
