Creative Arts at Bromstone

Creative Arts develops emotional intelligence, confidence and resilience, discipline and commitment and communications skills.  Bromstone has a very active Choir and Musical Theatre Club who perform regularly for the school and local community.

The Royal Shakespeare Associate School

Bromstone has been lucky enough to be a Royal Shakespeare Associate School this year, taking part in an amazing opportunity to explore Shakespeare’s plays. This year, this has been done through Shakespeare club, where a select few year 5 children have learnt a small section of the play ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and will be performing it on stage at the Marlowe Theatre with 10 other schools!

Creating music for the performance with an RSC musician in December!

Visit from a director, supporting us with our section of the play in January

Visit to the Marlowe Theatre Studio to rehearse with lighting and sounds cues along with more help from the director in March!

Performance Day! The children of Shakespeare club performed on the stage at the Marlowe to an audience! They got to see backstage as well as watch other schools perform their part of the play! Well done Shakespeare club!
