Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disability Information

Our SEN Information Report – which is part of Kent County Council’s Local Offer – provides details about how we support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in our school.

The SEN Information Report was reviewed and updated in September 2020.

At Bromstone Primary School, we are committed to the equal inclusion of all pupils in all areas of school life. We recognise the diverse and individual needs of all of our pupils and take into account the additional support required by those children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

At Bromstone Primary School we ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs make the best possible progress.

This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.

SEND Admissions

Choosing a new school for your child is one of the most important decisions you have to make as a parent and we hope that we will be your first choice.  You are more than welcome to visit us at Bromstone Primary school before you make your decision. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

The Local Authority oversee all admission arrangements for our school including admission arrangements for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).  All information can be found using the links at the bottom of this page.

We are committed to meeting the needs of all children including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We would ask parents to discuss the identified needs with the school prior to starting so that appropriate intervention and support can be planned and implemented. Advice from the LA or other agencies may be requested to ensure any the school can meet any needs appropriately.
