The world around us
We are flying through 2020 already and the children continue to make brilliant progress throughout the curriculum. The children have become extremely confident in their classroom environments and as they move around the school. We now attend the singing assembly with Key Stage One every Thursday and Reception children are always enthusiastic about the songs we share. Mrs Swallow often comments on their positive contributions to the assembly. The children will be encouraged to venture further into the school grounds at lunch time if they feel confident to explore. We are going to focus our learning on the world around us this term. We will look closely at our environment and the small creatures that we can find in it. Prepare for detailed observations of seeds, plants, worms and snails! We also hope to explore the fairy community that lives in our Forest School area and hope to invite them into our own garden and classroom.
