The Year Two children have had a brilliant 1st two terms in Year Two. They have been really enjoying all the different learning and opportunities the curriculum has to offer; from Reading and Writing, Maths and Science to Geography, History, Art, Music, Forest School and much more! We know the children are on a fantastic journey in their learning and development in Year Two. We look forward to sharing that with you here.
Meet the Classes
Mr Jones (Class Teacher), Miss Barnfield (Teaching Assistant) and Miss Tyler (Teaching Assistant)
Mr Turner (Class Teacher) and Miss Smith (Teaching Assistant).
Reading books, in Year 2, will go home on a Thursday and then collected in on a Monday morning. There will be suggestions and ideas provided to you, so you can support your child/children's reading on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please sign your child/children's reading records every time you read with them.
It is wonderful to see the children's love of books and we would encourage children to continue to read and/or share a story as often a s possible as the key to children's reading is developing their own pleasure for reading.
Thank you for your continued support.
We all look forward to what will be a truly wonderful year.
We will be updating our website with photos and information throughout the year.
